International Society of Bible Collectors
Have you heard of the International Society of Bible Collectors? It started in 1964 and continues today. The society produces the "Bible Review Journal" twice a year. Our yearly conference will be in Springfield, Missouri, U.S.A. In addition to our meetings (and countless discussions about Bibles) we will be visiting "The Passages: Treasures of the Bible." It is The Green Bible Collection. The dates will be October 10-11, 2014. I will try to post more when other details are available. The ISBC website is: www.biblecollectors.org

I inherited a copy of the "Chromatic Bible". A very interesting bible in that the passages are coloured in eleven hues to represent the tribes of ISrael. It was mentioned in edition 54 of "The Bible Coillector", in that edition it mentions a full review in edition 19. I cannot find edition 19 anywhere. Anyone got a copy of it? Can anyone shed any light on the "Chromatic Bible"? My great uncle made the illustrations in it. npaylor@aol.com
ReplyDeleteI e-mailed you a PDF of that review.
