Get the NLT Life Application Bible free from eBooks.com. I don't know how long this offer will last. I had to download it in epub format. I am not sure if it is available in other formats. Thanks to Christian Books on the Knob for this link!
UPDATE: I tried both Adobe Digital Editions in Windows and eBooks.com's reader on my android phone - neither could successfully download this Bible.
